Lunar New Year is almost here and it falls on February 12th this year. If you're not familiar of what Lunar New Year is, this occasions marks the first new moon of the lunisolar calendars and signifies the beginning of the new year for many east Asian countries, including China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan.
On this day, family gets together to welcome a fresh start to the year and wish each other good luck. Children will greet their Grandparents to wish them good health and happy wishes in exchange for red pockets, which bestow more happiness and blessings on the receivers.
